A sweet 5 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches wide, Black Iris is a single bloom of pure regal purple with slender green leaves. Her image is relief carved to show off her beauty and grace.

A small expanse of black bamboo and brass fittings grace her lid so as to hold all of your hopes, dreams, affirmations or tiny trinkets of collected shells, rocks and other treasures. The only thing she shouldn’t hold is any liquid in or on her satin black outer shell. A gentle, soft, and clean (unused for any other art or makeup) brush will keep her carved areas dust free.

As with all of her Journey Vessel companions, being displayed out of direct sunlight will have her colors last for years and generations to come.
